SmileHub is a nonprofit tech company that uses data to rate charities, and provides resources that make it easy for donors to find more information and maximize the impact of their donations. Our platform is designed to help users find and donate to causes and charities that align with their values and interests.

The charity model has not seen significant disruption in many years. We saw an opportunity to add simplicity and transparency to the way people donate and who they donate to. SmileHub was created with big aspirations to democratize charitable giving and be a destination to manage your charitable donations in one location. More importantly, we’ve done the research on all our listed charities. Be confident that every dollar you’re donating is having the most impact for the charitable cause you choose. We are just at the beginning of our journey, and we aim to continue adding features as we grow that allow people to truly maximize the impact of their donations.

Odysseas Papadimitriou

Odysseas Papadimitriou is a serial entrepreneur, who has more than 20 years of experience in the personal finance industry, spending nearly eight years at Capital One before founding the credit card comparison website CardHub which later evolved into WalletHub, a leading personal finance app.

Mr. Papadimitriou got the inspiration for starting SmileHub from the success WalletHub has had in democratizing financial literacy and providing online tools that help people improve their financial lives. He aims to achieve the same success at SmileHub, by helping people maximize the impact of their donations.

Mr. Papadimitriou graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. He holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
